Position Information: Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chiropractic provider to join our Integrative Clinic of Minnesota (ICM) located in Minneapolis. ICM delivers holistic healthcare at no-cost to a diverse patient population through various disciplines including Chiropractic Acupuncture Massage Therapy and Health Coaching. This unqiue setting offers a truly integrative healthcare experience for patients while serving as a rich teaching environment. In this role the provider will supervise and mentor chiropractic interns and provide direct 1:1 care to patients. The ideal candidate has a passion for student success and for advancing the next generation of chiropractic professionals.

The hours are Thursdays 4:30pm7:30pm and Friday mornings 9:30am12pm.

This is a part-time non-benefits eligible adjunct faculty position.

Work Location: Integrative Clinic of Minnesota - 1919 Nicollet Ave Minneapolis MN 55403

Duties:

• Provide direct patient care to the ICM community.
• Directly supervise Chiropractic interns treating patients.
• Assist students with patient exams as needed.
• Educate interns and patients on current evidence-based practices.
• Assist students in developing their technique and flow of patient visits.
• Provide a safe and hospitable learning environment for student interns.

What you need to have

• Doctor of Chiropractic degree required
• Licensed DC provider in the state of MN required
• Previous teaching or supervisory experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Passion for student development and success
• Experience working with culturally diverse populations preferred
• Trauma-informed practice experience preferred

Compensation:

$39.00 per hour

The hiring rate reflects a candidate with a doctoral degree and at least 18 months of related clinical experience. Candidates with less experience will have their rate adjusted accordingly.
