The Project Manager within Activations & Operational Integration (AOI) provides integrated end-to-end project management for complex cross-entity initiatives that support enterprise growth at Stanford Health Care. This role leads the coordination execution and stabilization of projects across AOIs core service areas - including clinical and administrative space activations wayfinding and signage facilities governance hospital tours and immersive experiences and key facilities initiatives.
Project Managers in AOI oversee the full project lifecycle from strategic intake and operational planning through activation patient day one and post-go-live stabilization. Responsibilities include managing project scope timelines workflows risks stakeholder engagement and compliance alignment. The Project Manager facilitates cross-functional collaboration and drives execution through structured workplans dashboards and standard tools grounded in Lean Management and Design Thinking.
Serving as the central point of contact across operations facilities IT vendors and leadership this role ensures projects meet operational readiness targets while maintaining alignment with institutional strategy. The Project Manager is accountable for outcomes and may direct project coordinators to ensure seamless implementation and effective stakeholder engagement throughout the lifecycle of the project.

A Brief Overview
The Project Manager (PM) leads key organization initiatives for Stanford Health Care. Project Managers are responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of project management on assigned projects including but not limited to project scope project schedule project budget project plans facilitating meetings documenting requirements overseeing development operational workflows and implementation. Additionally the Project Manager directs participants in compliance and regulatory alignment efforts.
The Project Manager is responsible for identifying and resolving project issues making sure the project progresses on schedule and on budget. The PM is the point of communication with stakeholders and is accountable for the projects success. The Project Manager must have strong communication skills in acting as the liaison between the project team subcontractor customer key stakeholders and senior leadership. The Project Manager has ultimate responsibility for project delivery. The Project Manager may direct the project/senior project coordinator (PC or Sr. PC) to expedite project related tasks.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $60.92 - $80.73 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
