At Lighthouse Electric our people are the core of our successand were looking for a skilled and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support and develop them. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who is passionate about employee relations leadership development and driving company culture forward.
The HRBP will work closely with managers and employees across the organization supporting day-to-day needs while also shaping the bigger picture. From coaching leaders and navigating complex employee relations matters to managing leaves of absence and owning our performance management processes-this is a key role in delivering proactive people-focused support.
Success in this position requires someone who is highly independent intrinsically motivated and confident making decisions and driving outcomes without needing direction at every turn.
What Youll Do
- Change & Project Leadership
- Champion people-focused change management for reorganizations technology shifts and restructuring efforts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new HR programs and ensure efficient execution processes
- Employee Relations & Leadership Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees offering support and guidance on employee relations coaching and conflict resolution.
- Provide day-to-day support to leadership teams including performance feedback strategies corrective action plans and development conversations.
- Support employees through leave of absence processes including FMLA STD LTD life claims and personal medical leaves. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees offering hands-on support and clear communication throughout the leave process.
- Performance & Accountability
- Lead the performance management process including review cycles goal setting and feedback coordination.
- Partner with managers to implement and track corrective action plans in alignment with company policies and values.
- Talent Management & Workforce Planning
- Support talent acquisition partner on hiring strategies selection processes and candidate experience.
- Lead workforce planning succession readiness and career development initiatives
What You Bring
- 510 years of HR experience as a strategic partner or senior generalist preferably with HRIS (e.g. Workday) proficiency
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations leadership coaching organizational development and performance management in both Union and Non-Union environments.
- Strong business acumen-metric-driven with ability to assess financial and operational implications of HR decisions
- Excellent communication skills-skilled in stakeholder management presentations and coaching
- High maturity independent decision-making and resilience in ambiguous or high-pressure scenarios
- HR certification (PHR SHRMCP etc.)
- Experience with leave of absence processes (FMLA STD/LTD ADA)
