How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

Responsible for supporting / carrying out various HR programs and procedures for employees at a

given Saputo location. Executes day-to-day HR operations and services in support of the workforce.

• Ensures positive employee relations via communication prompt issue resolution and fair & equitable treatment. Serve as internal resource for employee inquiries. Direct employee as necessary to appropriate resources.

• Prepare and post the planned schedules and support unplanned scheduling per the established CBA requirements. Partner with department managers for effective labor utilization and planning.
• Input / monitor employee attendance activity in the time & attendance system to ensure accurate reporting and tracking.
• Prepare and post job bid postings per the established CBA - update bid job and job qualification spreadsheets as required.
• Support on-boarding activities and prepare on-boarding materials.
• Manage the security key fob program.
• Support internal and external compliance audits.
• Support employee relations activities.
• Recommend new approaches / procedures in an effort to streamline processes and reduce areas of inefficiency or redundancy.
• Maintain personnel and medical files for current and former employees ensuring compliance with internal document retention standards and external government regulations.
• Maintain employee training files ensure training evaluations are completed / submitted in a timely manner and ensure the union employee qualification grid is up to date.
• Act as the payroll back up for HR Coordinator / Generalist.
• Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
• Adhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values.
• Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel.
• Support other departments as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have The Following Experience Skills and Qualifications

• Requires a High School Education Associate degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years previous experience in an HR support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with HRIS and HR Time Keeping Systems preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently.
• Ability to understand and add value to Saputo Dairy Foods business.
• Ability to deliver and execute high-quality and consistent Human Resources processes and services.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all departments management levels within the company and external stakeholders.

Salary Range: $47000 - $58000 (qualifications / experience)
