As a Calibration Technologist you will have the opportunity to ensure flawless operations and contribute to world-class scientific endeavors. Your work will directly impact our mission to build a healthier cleaner and safer world.

A day in the Life:

  • Calibrate adjust and maintain a variety of measuring instruments to strict standards.
  • Prepare and manage calibration data reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers vendors and management to resolve issues and ensure quality.

Keys to Success:

To be successful in this role you must be ambitious have a proven track record in calibration and demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills.

Education

  • A University or Community College degree in a scientific field with laboratory experience or 5 years of work experience in a technology-related field.

Experience

  • Broad range of scientific laboratory experience.
  • Experience with various computer systems for data analysis.
  • Proven independent work experience.
  • Demonstrated customer skills.
  • Direct calibration experience in handling calibrating or maintaining equipment in a regulated environment.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Capable of self-management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Primarily works in a Metrology Lab and office environment.
  • Potential for extended periods of sitting and repetitive work.
  • May need to lift 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment.
  • Personal protective equipment including lab coats coveralls and safety glasses may be required.
