Head of Care Registered General Nurse (RGN)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: 51000 per annum

Are you an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a passion for delivering exceptional care Were seeking a committed and compassionate Head of Care to lead our dedicated nursing team within a specialist service supporting individuals with complex care needs and neurological conditions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse leader ready to take the next step in their career where youll have the autonomy to shape care delivery inspire a skilled team and make a lasting difference in peoples lives.

What Were Looking For:

  • RGN qualification with valid NMC registration.
  • Strong experience leading a nursing team or managing a ward ideally in a complex care neurorehabilitation or similar setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of Clinical Governance CQC standards and safeguarding protocols.
  • Proven ability to coach mentor and develop staff.
  • Mentorship in Practice (MIP) qualification (or willingness to achieve it).
  • A compassionate forward-thinking leader committed to excellence in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day clinical operations ensuring high-quality care and compliance with CQC standards.
  • Develop personalised care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for residents with complex and neurological conditions.
  • Monitor clinical standards conduct audits and drive quality improvements across the service.
  • Provide clinical supervision mentoring and support to nursing staff fostering a positive and inclusive working environment.
  • Work closely with families GPs specialists and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
  • Stay current with clinical best practices safeguarding requirements and regulatory updates relevant to complex care settings.
