About this Role
Dawsongroup EMC provides specialist asset rental to local authorities utilities and the construction sector. Were looking for someone with prior experience in a similar role to help deliver and maintain high-performance equipment and ensure our customers stay up and running. This is a hands-on customer-facing role based out of our depot where every day brings something different.
- Assist with delivery and collection of sweepers refuse vehicles tippers and other specialist assets
- Support customer inductions and site-based commissioning
- Carry out first-line maintenance inspections and safety checks
- Respond to customer issues ensuring service is swift safe and professional
- Keep detailed records of asset condition movement and handovers
About You
Youve worked in a similar field and understand how important reliable equipment is to frontline services. Youre proactive hands-on and happy juggling varied taskssometimes at short notice.
- Previous experience in municipal civil plant hire or commercial vehicle roles
- Confident working with and around large machinery or specialist vehicles
- Good communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- A strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Safety-aware and comfortable with basic inspections or repairs
