Strategic Regulation Student-At-Law
Strategic Regulation is a centre of excellenceat the OSC for insight analysis and advice on emergingtrends and innovation. In partnership with our OSC colleagues we shape and influence conversations on the evolution of Ontarios capital markets. Our actions are driven by a commitment to foster resilient efficient and prosperous capital markets for Ontario.
The Strategic Regulation portfolio is currently seeking an Articling Student. The Student-at-Law position will support priorities across all teams within the Strategic Regulation division and help advance the organizations strategic objectives:
Role Requirements
Applicants must have an excellent academic record and demonstrate a high standard of legal research and writing. To excel at this role applicants should have strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple demands on their time. Applicants must be able to work independently and collaboratively. An ability to seek out additional information and adapt their style to suit their audience will serve applicants well in this multi-faceted role. Familiarity with and interest in securities laws corporate law technology law and/or an understanding of emerging technology retail investor needs or the startup ecosystem would be an asset.
