TCR has a brand-new exciting opportunity available in our Perth Workshop: Fabricator!
Join a global leader in Ground Support Equipment Maintenance with opportunities to grow in a collaborative environment. Bring your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
- Global organization Present in 30 countries around the world
- 4 on 4 off shifts Work 4 days and have 4 days off!
- 6-months Fixed Term Contract
- Work at the Airport Great exposure to the Aviation Industry
As a Fabricator at TCR you will:
- Utilize your technical skills and experience as a tradesman to conduct repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
- Report daily to the Shift Supervisor however will ultimately be under the management of the State Service Manager.
- Conduct preventive servicing data collecting as well as repair and maintenance tasks that reflect a trade standard.
- Promote a safety-first approach.
- Collaborate with fabricators technicians and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize the wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity for you to bring a wide collection of knowledge & skills to the role.
- Work with multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.
- Have 5 weeks annual leave 2 additional Health and Happiness leave days.
- Have your uniforms provided and laundered a competitive salary and an excellent mentorship.
To be successful in this role you will have most of the following skills and experience:
- Relevant Trade Qualification in Welding/Fabrication.
- Previous experience with aluminum welding to AS/NZS 1665.
- Previous experience with Basic Mechanics & Vehicle Servicing.
- Hold a current and valid Drivers License.
- A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
- Experience working within procedural guidelines.
- Good communication skills and proactiveness.
- A positive attitude and proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.
Pre-employment police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
