About the role

As the WHSE Officer you will play a key role in developing and implementing safety programs ensuring compliance with legislation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will help prevent incidents mitigate risks and promote the physical and psychological well-being of our team.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with WHSE legislation and internal standards.
  • Develop implement & maintain policies procedures and training records.
  • Ensure compliance with customer site requirements and contractor management.
  • Conduct inspections identify hazards implement effective controls.
  • Investigate incidents and support corrective actions.

What are we looking for

  • Degree or Diploma in WHS Environmental Science or related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of WHSE legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication training and coaching skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting tools.
