About the role
As the WHSE Officer you will play a key role in developing and implementing safety programs ensuring compliance with legislation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will help prevent incidents mitigate risks and promote the physical and psychological well-being of our team.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with WHSE legislation and internal standards.
- Develop implement & maintain policies procedures and training records.
- Ensure compliance with customer site requirements and contractor management.
- Conduct inspections identify hazards implement effective controls.
- Investigate incidents and support corrective actions.
What are we looking for
- Degree or Diploma in WHS Environmental Science or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of WHSE legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication training and coaching skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting tools.
