Reporting to the Head of Finance this role is a key member of the dynamic Finance team at Pernod Ricard Hellas. The primary responsibility is to manage accounts receivable monitor DSO minimize bad debt forecast collections and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with sales department to ensure smooth daily operation.
Direct communication with clients build customer relations understand customer payment habits.
Data collection and analysis monthly DSO Forecast monthly collections receivables ageing.
Deep knowledge of the credit insurance contract direct communication with brokers.
Implement new internal processes to develop the credit control policy of the company.
Calculate KPIs and act as the credit business partner to Head of Finance.
Deep understanding of customer contracts trade spending and accruals calculation.
Team lead of one assistant to oversee credit admin tasks issuance of credit notes customer turnover etc.
The ideal candidate
Bachelors degree in finance accounting statistics economics business or a related discipline.
Over 8 years of experience in credit control or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret financial reports and generate credit reports and KPIs from raw data.
High attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
Strong negotiation skills both with external partners and internal stakeholders such as customer service and sales teams.
Previous experience in the FMCG or retail sector is required.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP Navision etc. is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Greek.
