As part of our Helsinki team youll work at the intersection of strategy tech and sales guiding prospects and clients in understanding how our advanced marketing & data solutions can solve their toughest challenges. The Role
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Avaus youll join client-facing teams where your responsibilities span both the commercial and technical domains. Youll engage directly with client stakeholders from marketing leads to CTOs to map out needs demo solutions and shape proposals that match our clients challenges.
Your core responsibilities include:
Acting as the technical counterpart in the sales process supporting business development and client engagement
Understanding client needs and translating them into tailored scalable solutions using Avaus service offering
Running product demonstrations technical deep dives and proof-of-concepts
Collaborating closely with Avaus consultants analysts and developers to build winning proposals
Helping shape go-to-market strategies and refine sales processes with the broader team
Helping delivering teams in strategic direction and hands-on delivery when needed
Who are you
Youre a hybrid part technologist part strategist part storyteller. Youre naturally curious about data marketing and automation and equally comfortable discussing tech stacks and business outcomes. You love simplifying complexity and helping clients see a clear path forward.
In addition to your personality wed also like you to bring:
A background in marketing tech data SaaS or consulting (either commercial or technical)
An understanding of marketing automation tools customer data platforms cloud-based tools and platforms (e.g. GCP AWS Snowflake Salesforce Braze Adobe etc.)
Experience in pre-sales solution engineering or a technical sales support role
A consultative sales approach and strong presentation skills
Fluent in Finnish and English. Swedish is a plus
Practical information:
This is a permanent position with a 6-month probation period based in our Helsinki office. Starting date as soon as possible or by agreement. We offer a hybrid remote workplace and you will report to our Country Manager.
