Job Description
- Location: College Station TX 77845
- Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform and direct respiratory care services including oxygen and aerosol therapy
- Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement respiratory care plans
- Comply with infection control isolation HIPAA attendance and social media policies
- Deliver care professionally and compassionately to support a positive work environment
- Seek opportunities to grow professionally and enhance technical skills
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives in clinical care
- Identify and share opportunities to improve patient outcomes
- General knowledge of respiratory care modalities therapies equipment and medications
- Ability to read write and follow clinical protocols and flow charts
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- General computer skills including data entry electronic medical documentation and email
Education:
- Associate degree or at least 2 years of work experience above the minimum requirements.
Experience:
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience is acceptable.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days of hire or transfer).
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the Texas Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care.
