Job Description
Travel-Radiology/Interventional Radiology Contract Role
Location: Pittsburgh PA 15213
Shift: 10 HR Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Duration: 12-weeks contract
Weekly Pay: $2720 $2880
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to angiograms embolizations stent placements biopsies and drainages.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations and interventional procedures.
- Operate fluoroscopic ultrasound and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Scrub and assist the physician during procedures maintaining a sterile field.
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures recognizing and responding to complications.
- Administer contrast media and medications as directed under physician supervision.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control practices at all times.
- Accurately document all procedures and maintain patient records according to facility policy.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team to provide compassionate care.
- Ensure proper equipment operation maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain required continuing education and stay current with technological advances in the field.
- Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Licensure/Certification:
- ARRT (R) required
- ARRT (VI) or (CV) highly
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) required
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 2 years in interventional radiology
- Travel experience a plus

- Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 75 miles.
