Job Description
Local RN/Cath Lab Contract Role
Location: Somerset PA 15501
Shift: Variable shift
Duration: 12-weeks contract
Weekly Pay: $1620 $1800
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients physically and emotionally for catheterization angioplasty and pacemaker implantation procedures.
- Assist physicians during catheterization angioplasty and pacemaker implantation ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
- Monitor patients closely during procedures providing reassurance and maintaining a calm relaxed environment for patients who are awake.
- Administer appropriate medications as required under physician direction.
- Perform thorough post-procedure care including monitoring and assessment of vital signs circulation and any potential complications.
- Educate patients and their families about medications recovery expectations and discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Follow all hospital safety infection control and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking assessment and communication skills.

- Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 50 miles.
