Job Description
Location: Brenham TX 77833
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Assess plan implement and evaluate care for laboring patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with deliveries and postpartum recovery
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes
- Respond to emergencies with appropriate clinical interventions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and evidence-based practice guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Field of study: Nursing
- Active unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- Strong communication teamwork and critical thinking skills
