Job Description

RN Labor & Delivery Permanent Role

Location: Brenham TX 77833
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess plan implement and evaluate care for laboring patients
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Assist with deliveries and postpartum recovery
  • Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes
  • Respond to emergencies with appropriate clinical interventions
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and evidence-based practice guidelines
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Field of study: Nursing
  • Active unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Labor & Delivery experience preferred
  • Strong communication teamwork and critical thinking skills
