Job Description
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe PACU is a critical care unit where the patients vital signs are closely observed pain management begins and fluids are given. The nursing staff is skilled in recognizing and managing problems in patients after receiving anesthesia. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN license Provider Level BLS ACLS and PALS preferred. PACU or critical care experience required. Rotational call 1 weekend (Fri Sat Sun) and 3 week days per month. Starting time is flexible 8 hr shifts Monday-Friday 8-1630. This position does both PACU admitting and phase 2 discharges.
Shift: Shift is primarily 0800-1630 but start time may vary rotating weekends
