Job Description

Maintenance Manager
Malta OH

Full-Time / Direct Hire

About:

We are Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee and coordinate daily and long-term mechanical and electrical maintenance working supervisor role involves direct involvement in maintenance activities and team leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical work: lighting breakers wiring and network setup.
  • Hire train and lead maintenance staff.
  • Manage vendor contracts for maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and track preventive maintenance programs.
  • Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues to reduce downtime.
  • Work with other teams to improve equipment efficiency.
  • Coordinate parts and materials with procurement.
  • Schedule maintenance around production needs.
  • Help prepare and manage the maintenance budget.
  • Keep maintenance areas clean and safe.
  • Enforce safety rules and participate in safety programs.
  • Manage capital projects and improvements.
  • Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • 3-5 years in electrical installations and troubleshooting including PLCs.
  • 3-5 years leading maintenance teams in manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to read blueprints and work on mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and a strong safety mindset.
  • Self-motivated flexible and team-oriented.
