Description/Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. overtime as needed including nights and weekends.
Job Summary: Operates electric forklift inspects carriers (trucks and boxcars) when product comes in to ensure the carrier is safe clean and does not compromise product quality and/or safety of materials being received. Stacking and taking down packing material on slip sheets and/or pallets. Responsible for operating scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control and delivering supplies to other departments throughout the day.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess forklift experience.
- Must possess basic math skills. (add subtract multiply divide)
- Must possess basic computer skills. (scanners)
- Must possess a valid drivers license and have a good driving record.
- Must read speak write and understand the English language fluently.
- Must be willing to climb up to 20 feet.
- Must be willing to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be willing to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures for periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
