Job Description
Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to patients with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This role is essential in ensuring the comfort safety and well-being of patients in a clinical or residential care setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting feeding and mobility.

Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature pulse respiration and blood pressure.

Report any changes in patients conditions or behaviors to nursing staff promptly.

Help patients move safely in and out of beds wheelchairs and examination tables.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.

Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and regulations.

Assist with medical equipment and supplies as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid CNA certification in state/region.

Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required based on facility).

Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Physical stamina to lift move and assist patients as needed.
Work Environment:
-
May work in hospitals nursing homes assisted living facilities or home care settings.

Shifts may include evenings weekends and holidays.
