Job Description
Job title: Programmer Analyst 6
Location: Lansing MI (Partial Remote)
Job Overview:
The selected candidate will support MDHHS (Michigan Dept. of Health and Human Services) for Medicaid Reimbursement projects. This includes analysis design coding testing debugging and application maintenance across technologies in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Technical Environment:
- Front-End: Angular HTML XAML
- Back-End: C# .NET 4.6 / .NET 6 Core) MVC MVVM
- Databases: SQL Server Oracle
- Reporting: SSRS
- APIs: REST SOAP
- DevOps: Git Azure DevOps CI/CD Azure & IIS
- Containerization (Nice to Have): OpenShift/Kubernetes
- Security: Identity Secure Coding Standards (XSS SQL Injection prevention)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and debug web applications using Angular and C#
- Create and maintain SSRS reports
- Build and maintain SQL Server and Oracle database objects (SPs Views Triggers)
- Implement RESTful/SOAP services and integrate with external APIs
- Participate in Agile/Scrum team activities (user stories sprints reviews)
- Work with Azure/IIS for application deployment and performance monitoring
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and DTMB guidelines
- Create design documents mockups and technical documentation
Required Skills:
- 9 years: Angular HTML C# SQL Server Entity Framework
- 5 years: SSRS XAML MVC/MVVM SQL/SPs/TSQL IIS SOAP & REST APIs
- 7 years: Agile/SCRUM Git secure coding unit testing
- 5 years: Azure DevOps/TFS
- Strong troubleshooting design and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
Nice to Have Skills:
- OpenShift / Kubernetes
- Azure Web Services knowledge
- Project Management Methodology understanding
- Experience with logging frameworks and security features
- Regression testing & Develops practices
Soft Skills:
- Independent worker and team player
- Strong customer service orientation
- Effective communicator with stakeholders
- Analytical problem-solver
- Attention to detail and adherence to documentation standards
