Work Type: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week)
Job Type: Contract (12 18 Months)
Rate: $65-68/hr on W2

Job Description:
The McShane Firm is seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager with strong Workday expertise to drive key enterprise Workday initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead full project lifecycles collaborate with functional and technical teams and act as a key liaison with stakeholders and vendors. This role will focus on delivering high-impact results across modules like HCM Payroll Finance and Integrations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead Workday projects across HCM Finance Payroll or other modules
- Create and manage project plans budgets timelines and resource allocations
- Act as the primary liaison between business units IT and external vendors
- Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively resolve issues
- Report progress milestones and deliverables to senior leadership
- Coordinate UAT training deployment and post-go-live support
- Ensure data integrity and compliance throughout the lifecycle
Required Skills:
- 5 7 years of IT Project Management experience
- 2 years of recent experience with Workday projects
- Hands-on experience managing Workday HCM Payroll Financials or Integrations
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture and workflows
- Successful track record in end-to-end Workday implementations
- Familiar with project tools (MS Project JIRA Smartsheet)
- Excellent communication stakeholder and change management skills
- PMP CSM or Workday certifications preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in law firms or professional services environments
- Background in data migration system testing or Workday integrations
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience managing third-party vendors and consultants
