Were looking for a Lead Service Design and Transition Manager to join our Group Finance IT (GFIT) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small dedicated team and make a real impact by ensuring our services are designed to meet operational excellence from day one.
What youll be doing:
- Leading a team of Service Design specialists to deliver consistent high-quality service design outcomes
- Defining and maintaining a repeatable Service Design Framework aligned to project needs
- Overseeing compliance with Service Transition governance and escalating risks appropriately
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery
- Driving standardisation automation innovation and continuous improvement across service design processes
- Forecasting and managing Service Design demand across portfolios and projects
- Ensuring timely delivery of service support artefacts including procedures tooling and knowledge
- Developing and implementing a roadmap for capability maturity and process improvement
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Proven experience in leading service design and transition within a complex IT environment
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks particularly Service Design and Transition
- Experience managing and developing a small team of IT professionals
- A good understanding of Agile and Waterfall based project delivery
- Youll also be well versed in ITSM platforms - workflows reporting CMSB and monitoring/alerting
- Experience of working in a regulated environment would be a huge plus!
