What you get to do:
- Lead and inspire a large team of Sales Ambassadors within Retail and Photo business units.
- Ensure Ambassadors are engaging guests and making a positive impact to service scores (GSAT).
- Foster a team environment and develop future leaders by sharing knowledge and being an example.
- Financial responsibility over assigned locations (revenue labor management expense controls).
- Assist with creating and activating incremental revenue opportunities.
- Oversee and participate in park cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
- Coach and course correct negative Ambassador behaviors as needed.
- Turn a negative guest experience into a positive one as needed.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors Vendors and Guests.
- Work with third-party Revenue Partners to drive revenue.
- Oversee and participate in store changeouts and in-park event setups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
- Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred or relatable experience.
- Three (3) years management and/or supervisory experience preferred setting in a theme park or high-volume retail.
- Proficient in Microsoft software products.
- Demonstrated initiative communication organizational and interpersonal skills; Confident and outgoing presence with the ability to professional interact with various levels of ambassadors and leadership.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with a detailed oriented style and strict deadlines.
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
What else is important:
- Must be able to lift push pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling squatting bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead reach overhead simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes dust odors and cold/heat temperature extremes
- Perform cleaning duties including use of cleaning chemicals
- Available to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
