Social Content Editor & Manager

We are looking for an edit-first multi-hyphenate creative who specializes in social content to join our Emmy Award-winning team working with one of our partners - a top global streaming service. Reporting to the Social Content Director you will create social media content on this key account with the help of a team of project managers content managers editors and designers. You are an edit-first visual creative who can convey voice and big ideas through visual storytelling.

The salary range for this position is 70000-80000 USD annually.

Responsibilities:

• Create interesting content for social channels by developing creative ideas that elevates and innovates the brand voice.
• Embrace a team-oriented approach for creative.
• Support the creative brainstorming community management short and long-form social copywriting scriptwriting.
• Support social coverage for live events and marketing and junket shoots by briefing and managing high profile entertainment talent.
• Ensure content and ideas that align with creative strategy and fit for purpose.
• Remain up to date with the new trends on social media and translate this to clients in a reactive way for both paid and organic content.
• Work with the project management team to ensure the success in time and on budget delivery of briefs.
• Follow internal processes including timing plans content calendars.
• Work with clients and main partners to receive briefs and important information.

Qualifications :

• 3 or more years of experience working on social media
• Must be passionate about social media entertainment - TV film and pop culture.
• Experience creating content for social media: static asset short and long form video (Reels TikTok and longer scripted pieces) GIPHY stickers GIFs memes
• Experience covering live events and working with talent on photo and video production shoots (within a marketing shoot or junket environment)
• Experience building online communities and an understanding of fandom communities in social spaces
• Experience delivering social campaigns at a national level
• Experience working with clients by email call or in-person
• Experience in the entertainment industry.
• Experience doing editing and rough cuts using programs like Premiere After Effects and CapCut
