As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice you will play a pivotal role in interacting with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models processes and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that newly implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. Your collaboration with technical teams will be crucial in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions.

Your key responsibilities
In this role you will manage and deliver complex processes and solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and risk management. You will face challenges that require innovative problem-solving and analytical skills allowing you to grow your expertise in technology analysis and implementation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis.
• Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met.
• Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
• Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and possessing strong business acumen. Staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the clients business and demonstrating the ability to assimilate new knowledge.
• Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progressmanaging risks and keeping key stakeholders informed of developments and expected outcomes.
• Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust.
• Effectively leading and motivating diverse teams providing constructive feedback and coaching. Fostering an innovative inclusive and team-oriented work environment while mentoring junior consultants.
• Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EYs service lines and proactively assessing ways to meet client needs.
• Gathering requirements and leading design workshops during explore configuration unit testing and writing functional specifications for design gaps during build and assisting the client in all testing cycles. Supporting the client with training before go-live and providing post go-live support.
• Keeping abreast of new Asset Management (Plant Maintenance) functionalities released annually by SAP.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (procurement project systems finance quality management production materials management warehouse management supply chain and IBP) to design test and deploy SAP solutions.

Skills and attributes for success
On your typical engagement you will work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP Asset Management system capabilities. You will initiate the requirement gathering architect solutions blueprinting testing and complete the workflow and documentation as well as the functional design of the solution. Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A Bachelors degree; a Masters degree is preferred.
• Typically 12-15 years of relevant experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Asset Management within a functional consulting or system configuration role.
• Strong written and verbal communication presentation client service and technical writing skills.
• Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams including oversight of project-based team members.
• Knowledge of best practices in plant maintenance and customer service complemented by benchmarking and advisory experience in technology functions specific to these areas.
• Proficiency in researching client inquiries and emerging issues including regulations industry practices and new technologies.
• A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.
• Experience in conducting technology cost-benefit analyses.
• Familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks.
• Skills in training design and delivery.

Ideally youll also have

• Experience with one of the following additional licensed products:

  • SAP service and asset management (SAM)
  • SAP field service management (FSM)
  • SAP resource scheduling for maintenance planners (RSH)
  • SAP business network asset collaboration (BNAC)

  • SAP spatial asset management
  • SAP work clearance management (lock out tag out)
  • SAP geographical enablement framework
  • SAP environmental health & safety (EH&S)
• Experience in leading teams and managing change effectively.
• Prior consulting industry experience.
• SAP certification(s).
• Experience with at least two full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
• Experience writing and delivering training materials for end users.
