Corporate Reporting within Social Security Scotlands Corporate Finance branch are looking for a B3 Finance Manager to join their team.
The Corporate Reporting team is primarily responsible for ensuring the organisation has robust financial management arrangements in place for accounting for our operating costs and capital expenditure whilst ensuring value for money for the taxpayer. The team also plays a key role in the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts.
As a B3 Finance Manager you will be responsible for the provision of regular financial management advice and support to non-finance staff and play a lead role in the Annual Report and Accounts Audit.
You will play a key role in producing robust monthly forecasting information and reporting our results using the new Oracle finance system (ERP). You will improve the financial capabilities of the organisation through engaging with stakeholders and developing and delivering tailored training across the organisation.
This permanent opportunity will provide you with excellent opportunities to broaden your finance experience work with a range of stakeholders and develop your budget monitoring skills.

Working Pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role. We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. There is an expectation of a minimum 2 days per week in your assigned location which will be either Agnes Husband House Dundee or 220 High Street you have specific questions about the role you are applying for please contact us.

This role is only available to existing permanent civil servants who have successfully completed their probation period within Social Security Scotland or the broader Scottish Government.
