Maintenance Technician Entry Level
Starting at $19/hour Willing to train the right candidate!
Are you mechanically inclined Do you like working with your handsfixing cars motors or machines If so we want to hear from you! Incom is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into manufacturing and facility maintenanceno industry experience needed if youve got the right aptitude and work ethic.
What Youll Do:
- Operate and maintain mechanical vapor compressor (MVC) distilling systems and related process equipment
- Perform basic troubleshooting cleaning and repairs on pumps tanks valves screens and piping
- Collect and process coolant and slurry from the manufacturing floor
- Assist with hazardous material handling and waste disposal prep
- Operate saws drill presses and fabricate simple parts or fixtures
- Support general building and grounds maintenance including snow removal
- Perform light carpentry painting custodial work and receive deliveries
What Were Looking For:
- Mechanical aptitudeexperience working on cars motorcycles small engines or machinery a strong plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational-Technical training or certification is a bonus
- Stable work history required were looking for candidates who show reliability and commitment
- Solid work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift and / or move 50lbs or more spend extended periods of time on feet and work in loud hot and cold environments.
- Must have English language skills (speaking reading writing and comprehension) necessary to follow safety instructions procedures and training materials
- Reliable transportation required to maintain regular attendance and travel between local Incom facilities as needed
- Must successfully pass E-Verify a pre-employment background check and a 9-panel drug screening
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Experience with maintenance plumbing electrical or HVAC work
- Familiarity with shop tools (drills grinders saws etc.)
- Background in industrial facilities or manufacturing settings
