Finance and Monitoring Officer - PPS Directorate
Secondment until 31st March 2026
GradeConsultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working 36.5 hours per week
A secondment opportunity exists for an experienced finance and monitoring officer to work in the European and International Team of PPS Directorate to provide comprehensive finance and monitoring support for the City Councils Local Growth projects and programmes. Primarily supporting the delivery of the Councils 14m UKSPF programme but also supporting other EU and Innovation programmes the post holder will have comprehensive experience of providing support around financial and performance monitoring preparation of claims to external funding bodies. experience of financial and performance reporting and knowledge/experience of project/programme audits including issues of compliance and legal regulations such as subsidy control. The candidate may have previously work in programmes previous funded by the European Union such as ERDF and ESF.
