Job Title: Tableau Lead
Tampa FL (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Tableau Lead with deep expertise in Tableau and Looker to lead our data storytelling and dashboarding initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence data modeling and analytics with a proven track record of delivering impactful visualizations that drive strategic decision-making across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design development and deployment of advanced dashboards and reports using Tableau and Looker.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visual insights.
Architect scalable BI solutions that integrate with various data sources including cloud platforms data warehouses and APIs.
Establish and enforce best practices for data visualization performance optimization and user experience.
Mentor junior BI developers and analysts fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Drive adoption of BI tools across departments through training documentation and evangelism.
Conduct regular audits and enhancements of existing dashboards to ensure relevance and accuracy.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data visualization and analytics.
Required Qualifications:
10 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
Expert-level proficiency in Tableau and Looker including dashboard development data blending and advanced calculations.
Strong understanding of SQL ETL processes and data modeling.
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery Redshift).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Systems or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Tableau and/or Looker certifications.
Experience with other BI tools (e.g. Power BI Qlik).
Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
