Normal Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm
Job Summary:The Event Coordinator oversees the implementation execution and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus. Creates invitations. Selects sites. Creates seating arrangements. Negotiates with florist caterers event space staff print shops etc. Manages on-site contract staff students and etc.
Additional Department Summary:Oversees the implementation execution and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus. Supports the development and coordination of community education programs. Supports program evaluation. Provides technical assistance to both internal and external community partners.
Required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree and some event planning or coordination experience; OR associates degree and two (2) years of event planning or coordination experience; OR high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of event planning or coordination experience.
Skills and Knowledge:Familiarity with and ability to effectively work with K-12 teachers administrators families and community partners.
