Oneida Professional Services is currently seeking a qualified Technical Instructor II to support operations at U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence Fort Sam Houston.
Job Title: Technical Instructor Level II
Location: Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston / Camp Bullis / MEDCoE San Antonio TX
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Technical Instructor Level II to provide subject matter expert (SME) support in the instruction of the U.S. Army officer mid-level learning curriculum including Army Medical Department (AMEDD) branch-specific training and related programs. The instructor will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality training curriculum and instructional materials in alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Department of the Army (DA) and AMEDD doctrine and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver classroom and/or field instruction in support of mid-level officer education and AMEDD branch-specific curriculum.
Provide subject-matter expertise to support curriculum development updates and integration of new content based on evolving doctrine and operational needs.
Assist in the design and production of accurate effective instructional and technical support materials aligned with established Programs of Instruction (POI).
Facilitate student learning and contribute to student success by employing appropriate instructional methodologies and evaluation techniques.
Incorporate current doctrine policies Army regulations lessons learned and best practices into training materials and instruction.
Conduct doctrinal and technical reviews to ensure accuracy and relevance of educational content.
Provide timely and accurate technical information and instructional support to program leadership and stakeholders.
Maintain awareness of evolving Army and AMEDD policies guidelines and operational priorities to ensure alignment with training objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Education Instructional Design Health Sciences or Military Studies preferred).
Graduate of AMEDD U.S Army Captains Career Course.
Minimum of 35 years of experience as a military instructor with demonstrated subject matter expertise in AMEDD or related areas.
Familiarity with Army training doctrine instructional systems development and the Program of Instruction process.
Experience incorporating DA DoD and AMEDD doctrine policies and regulations into instructional material.
Strong communication presentation and classroom management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with military and civilian personnel in a structured training environment.
U.S. Citizenship required; ability to pass a background investigation
Position Requirements:
Must be fluent in reading writing and speaking English.
Profiecient in Learning Management System- Blackboard and virtual enhancement programs such as Microsoft TEAMS and Zoom.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to deliver effective presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain a positive and professional learning and working environment with students and faculty.
Ability to learn and apply current and emerging military and commercial technologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Access); familiarity with photo editing software (specific tools may vary by task).
Ability to troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software systems required to support instructional and technical services under each task order.
