Job Summary
Seeking to hire a Technical Sales Representative in Colorado Springs CO to expand sales presence in the retail petroleum industry. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle for electronic price signage and fuel pricing software focusing on value delivery relationship management and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the retail petroleum sector.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Conduct client needs assessments and customize solutions.
- Present and demonstrate product features and benefits to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts pricing proposals and service agreements.
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new and existing customers.
- Stay current on industry trends competitor offerings and technological advancements.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and customer interaction records in CRM (e.g. NetSuite).
- Represent Client at trade shows conferences and industry events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B technical sales experience preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g. NetSuite).
- Exceptional communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% 70% of the time.
