Operations Manager Commercial Roofing
San Antonio TXFull-Time On-Site Operations Leadership
Salary: $115000 $135000 annually full benefits
About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead both field operations and project management for large-scale commercial roofing projects across South Texas. Youll be guiding teams from start to finishensuring every job is delivered safely on schedule within budget and to the highest standards of quality. What Youll Do
- Oversee and support all project management and field staff on roofing operations
- Work alongside the Field Operations Manager to ensure accountability and safety across the board
- Co-lead drafting and technical teams to support project execution
- Track job progress analyze labor and material costs and manage production metrics
- Conduct site walks attend job meetings and ensure QA/QC protocols are being followed
- Cultivate client relationships built on trust communication and responsiveness
- Hire onboard and mentor Project Managers Superintendents and field teams
- Train new staff in company systems technology and best practices
- Address field issues mediate conflicts and resolve obstacles efficiently
- Lead compliance efforts for project systems (QAQC JHA logs digital plan management)
- Coordinate field training and safety workshops in partnership with leadership
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in commercial roofing or exterior systems
- OR 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field
- Proven leadership as a Sr. Project Manager or equivalent role
- Strong understanding of construction documentation contracts and project controls
- OSHA 30 certified
- Fluent in English; bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management platforms
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally to job sites
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
