If you are looking for a PRODUCT MANAGER position and an opportunity to grow Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you based in our Sidney OH headquarters!
AS A PRODUCT MANAGER YOU WILL:
Own the Hermetic Recip platforms sales and profitability and ensure targets are met.
Collaborate with other Copeland world areas and business groups to drive growth in our Hermetic Recip product lines and execute platform strategies at a global level.
Drive product vision and execution by developing long term platform growth strategies roadmaps and design requirements.
Prioritize new product development programs and product lifecycle management initiatives based on business opportunities or threats in collaboration with internal functions.
Build the product value proposition positioning and pricing strategy for platform solutions.
Drive the commercialization plan including go-to-market strategy customer bulletins and marketing collateral.
Ensure synergies and leverage of global investments programs and resources.
Lead efforts to resolve operational challenges related to ongoing initiatives.
Participate in and lead executive-level sales profit and demand planning reviews.
Understand industry trends market dynamics and competition across different segments. Serve as the platform expert for sales and customers.
Support customer engagements for the various platform applications. Gather customer feedback and requirements for new products.
Use market and product knowledge to train multiple groups to drive sales growth.
Lead cross-functional teams consisting of Program Management Marketing Engineering Sales others for critical commercial programs.
Required Education Experience and Skills
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering Marketing or Business
Minimum five(5) years related work experience in product management project management marketing sales or engineering
Proven track record in leading and operating with an entrepreneurial and holistic mindset with accountability and autonomy
Stronganalytical abilities to use data to develop strategies and make decisions in a time sensitive manner
Competencies to quickly turn ideas or strategy into action operate in a customer-centric way take calculated risks and drive results through others
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively communicate and present information to customers stakeholders and executive management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools and high degree of organizational skills
Ability to travel 10-20% primarily within North America
Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Preferred Education Experience and Skills
Masters degree in Business Administration
Experience in operating with strategic third party partnerships
Experience in the HVACR industry working directly with original equipment manufacturers designers/consultants wholesalers contractors and/or end-user customers
Expertise in product portfolio planning and product development processes from discovery to testing and launch
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills
Commercial development and marketing expertise in B2B environments and track record of driving business growth
Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:
This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid day based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.

About Our Location
Our newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for our HVACR Americas business unit. Through our many years of compressor expertise our products help bring comfort and convenience to refrigeration commercial industrial and residential spaces. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney who all support a multitude of business functions.
