Software Engineer Firmware (Multiple Openings)
Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer Firmware at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Inc. (SEL) develops the specifications designs implements and documents a wide range of software and firmware products developed by SEL. The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical and computer engineering and computer science to (1) write test plans; (2) conduct design tests; (3) prepare and maintain test and design documentation; (4) review data sheets and instruction manuals; (5) undertake to improve SELs research and development processes; and (6) participate in industry technical meetings and conferences as required to meet operational and strategic goals.
