Job Summary
Process Engineer
Join Autoliv a global leader in automotive safety as a Process Engineer at one of our Ogden UT facility and help us in our mission to save lives. With our cutting-edge technology youll be at the forefront of creating the safest automotive solutions for millions of people worldwide.
What youll do:
- Develop analyze and manage manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.
- Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates efficiencies yields costs and changeovers.
- Implement process improvements to reduce product lead times and costs.
- Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
- Develop innovative solutions and leverage new technologies to enhance production quality and capacity.
- Must be competent in the use of SolidWorks CAD.
What is required:
- Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree required
- Proven experience in process engineering preferably within the automotive industry.
- Demonstrable knowledge in process design development and optimization.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
