Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security(BDS) Business Development & Strategy is seeking a strategic analytical and collaborative Senior Strategy Manager to join the Core Strategy team located in Arlington VA Berkeley MO or various other Boeing Defense locations.
In this role you will lead the development and integration of cross-functional operations strategies that drive efficiency scalability and long-term business value. This role will serve as a key partner to senior leadership aligning operational strategies and priorities with overall business goals and enabling data-driven decision-making across a variety of functions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop integrated operations strategies aligned with business objectives across all functions enabling effective tactical and strategic decision-making.
- Conduct operational assessments to identify improvement opportunities in efficiency cost and scalability.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives enabling alignment clear communication and timely execution.
- Support the design of new processes and operating models partnering with process owners and change management teams.
- Provide strategic input during annual planning cycles and long-range planning exercises.
- Monitor industry trends and benchmark performance to identify best practices and innovative approaches.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Prefer St Louis MO or Arlington VA)
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5 years of experience of cross functional experience with a strong understanding of operations (preferably across sites and markets)
- Strategic Thinking Ability to synthesize complex inputs and develop cohesive strategies across multiple functions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership Proven success working across teams to drive alignment and results.
- Analytical Mindset Strong skills in data analysis financial modeling and scenario planning.
- Project Management Experience leading initiatives from concept through execution with diverse teams
- Communication & Influence Excellent written verbal and visual communication skills; able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Change Management Skilled in implementing and sustaining strategic and operational changes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel PowerPoint Etc)
- Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Business Engineering or Operations preferred.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience coaching guiding and leading teams
- Effective communication organizational and team-oriented skills
- Experience in a complex matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exposure to digital transformation or operational technology implementations.
- Capable of traveling up to 25% of the time

This position may require travel up to 25% of the time
