Supply Base Management Specialist (Experienced and Lead Level)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Base Management Specialist (Experienced and Lead Level) that will support the Customer Solutions team in Seattle WA. The ideal candidate will develop and execute plans that align with customer program and commodity strategies while actively participating in business and cost-saving initiatives. Additionally this position will engage in supplier and business improvement activities providing valuable insights and outcomes.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Lead Level Supply Base Management Specialists.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

• The candidate must possess strong business acumen communication and problem solving skills

• Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers customers and programs

• Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs

• Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies

• Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks issues and opportunities to senior leaders

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Excellent Communication Skills.

• 5 years of experience in Supply Chain processes.

• 5 years of experience in project management.

• 5 years of experience engaging in senior level communications and presentation development.

• Ability to coordinate across all levels of employees.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 7 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Bachelors degree or higher in business supply chain program management or a related field.

• Experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes.

• Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery.

Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (Level 3)

Typically 6 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Lead (Level 4)

Typically 10 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.
