Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving storing processing and dispatching cargo so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyors engines motors pneumatic tools and production machines and equipment.
Shift: Mon-Fri 5pm to 330am some weekends
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge and experience working with conveyor systems electrical 3-phase motor controls/PLC overall material handling experience.
Perform repair /inspection installation of conveyor system racking balers air compressors carton sealers etc. and all other building and support areas.
Recognize potential malfunctions and proactively repair to mitigate costs.
Maintain complete repair order records.
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs or replaces defective parts.
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
Lubricates and cleans parts.
Starts devices to test their performance.
Sets up and operates lathe drill press grinder and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
Repairs electrical equipment.
Position is full-time and on-site.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:
$28 - $32 an hour*
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
