The role sits within the People Advice and Support team which currently comprises of the Senior People Advice and Support Manager 4 Managers 7 Specialists 2 Wellbeing Specialists and 7 Advisers. We are expanding to add another an additional adviser to our team.
This is a crucial role which delivers professional efficient and effective Human Resource advice and guidance to support Social Security Scotland staff at all levels. This will include case management of conduct performance and attendance procedures. As an Adviser you will work closely with line managers across the organisation providing them with invaluable coaching and support to ensure they fulfil the people management aspects of their roles in adherence to our core values of dignity fairness and respect. You will have a positive approach with an innate ability to connect with people embodying teamwork and tackling HR challenges with confidence and composure.

Qualifications
Associate Member of the CIPD or currently working or be willing to work towards an appropriate qualification.

Working pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role. We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices. There is an expectation of a minimum 2 days per week in your assigned location which will be either Glasgow or you have specific questions about the role you are applying for please contact us.
