JobOverview: We are seeking a highlyorganized and proactive Supply Coordinator to manage the end-to-end logisticsof supply chain operations across multiple locations. This role involvesfrequent travel to project sites as well as maintaining equipment and suppliesat our corporate location (Baton Rouge LA). The ideal candidate thrivesin dynamic environments communicates effectively and excels at problem-solvingon the go.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the procurement transportation and delivery of supplies to various job sites or facilities.
- Conduct on-site inventory audits and ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
- Liaise with vendors carriers and internal teams to resolve supply chain issues in real time.
- Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery timelines and potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement receipts and usage.
- Implement and enforce supply chain best practices and safety protocols.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Support emergency or last-minute supply needs with agility and resourcefulness.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance and site-specific logistics.
- Stocking and organizing equipment and supplies.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in logisticsinventory management or supply coordination.
Willingness and ability to travelextensively mostly on short notice.
Strong organizational and time managementskills.
Proficiency in inventory software.
Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and move supplies asneeded (up to 50 lbs.).
Valid drivers licenseand clean driving record.
Work Environment:
This role involves frequenttravel to diverse environments including mobile command staging areas constructionand restoration sites. Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
