Sheehy Auto Storesis seeking aPainter (prepper)to join our body shop team. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated with great attention to detail. As part of our team you will work onsite as a detailing/reconditioning expert and play a key role in providing an immaculate vehicle to customers and keeping our shop clean.Includes the opportunity to grow by learning how to prep and paint cars!If you are passionate about automotive and skilled in detailing cars apply today.

Responsibilities
- Washes vehicle exterior to clean cars using cleaning solution water cloths and brushes
- Applies wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine
- Vacuum interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner
- Cleans upholstery rugs and other surfaces using cleaning agents applicators and devices
- Applies revitalizers and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
- Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime
- Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that do not respond to standard cleaning procedures utilizing experience and following the product manufacturers recommendations
- Paints engine components and related parts using a spray gun aerosol can and masking material
- Applies paint to chipped body surfaces of the vehicle using a container of touch-up paint
- Applies dyes and reconditioning chemicals to vinyl tops of vehicles to restore color and condition
- Assists with keeping the shop clean
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have clean a driving record
- Be able to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Able topass a pre-employment background screening Motor Vehicle Record Check and drug test
