We are looking for anADA Testerto join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in perform accessibility testing with ADA WCAG 2.1/2.2 and other accessibility standards.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Piscataway NJ is$115k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Perform accessibility testing of web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with ADA WCAG 2.1/2.2 and other accessibility standards.
• Utilize assistive technologies such as screen readers (e.g. JAWS NVDA VoiceOver) screen magnifiers and keyboard-only navigation to evaluate user experiences.
• Conduct manual and automated accessibility audits using tools like Axe Lighthouse WAVE and Accessibility Insights.
• Document accessibility issues with clear steps to reproduce expected vs actual results and applicable WCAG criteria.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to provide remediation guidance and best practices for accessible design and code.
• Participate in accessibility reviews during design development and testing phases to identify issues early in the SDLC.
• Stay updated with evolving accessibility laws standards and tools and share knowledge with internal teams.
• Create test plans and test cases specifically focused on accessibility requirements and scenarios.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by working with users with disabilities to validate accessible experiences.
• Deliver reports and presentations on accessibility findings and progress to stakeholders including risk assessments and timelines for remediation.

Requirements:

• Experience in ADA WCAG 2.1/2.2 and other accessibility standards.
• Experience in creating test plans and test cases specifically focused on accessibility requirements and scenarios.
• Experience in working with screen readers (e.g. JAWS NVDA VoiceOver) screen magnifiers and keyboard-only navigation to evaluate user experiences.

Preferred but not required:

• Banking and Financial Industry experience.
