Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security is hiring an Experienced or Lead Manufacturing Planner Electrical supporting our Executive Transport and Surveillance Team in Oklahoma City OK. This position will be the main Manufacturing Engineering interface with our key electrical suppliers and assist in electrical design and installation drawings and planning work instructions.
Position Responsibilities:
Review engineering requirements and drawings and provide manufacturability producibility and installation feedback
Investigates technical problems
Establish make / buy plans to fabricate or purchase aircraft electrical components and wire bundles
Author and Update Electrical Installations and Modifications Shop Floor Work Instructions
Position may require domestic travel up to 25% of the time
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years experience of avionics electrical systems or electrical installation
Experience with the creation of manufacturing planning and authoring assembly work instructions
Experience reviewing Electrical Engineering build/installation drawings
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with GOLDesp or similar Manufacturing Execution System
Experience with WIRS or Mentor
