Job Description
Axis Spine and Orthopedics (a division of NWSH) is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Axis Spine Team!is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Axis Spine Team!
This position will likely be one day a week!

Our physical therapy team provides comprehensive patient-centered care that works to assess each patients strengths and weaknesses to devise effective team-based treatment plans in accordance with the physicians orders.
The Physical Therapy Assistant position is responsible for providing safe effective patient-centered care in a clinical outpatient setting for all patient populations. The Physical Therapy Assistant supports the mission vision and values of the organization and will do the following:
- Administer treatment programs under PT direction with specific goals defined by patients capacity and tolerance and in accordance with established pre-op and post-op spine protocols.
- Educate patients about biomechanics exercises and injury prevention to promote wellness.
- Communicate with patients team members the director of physical therapy and physicians to ensure a consistent level of care.
- Complete daily documentation on existing patients within workday.
- Participate in monthly staff meetings and marketing assignments as directed by PT director.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
Must have current and unrestricted licensure in the state of Idaho or be actively in the application process
Must have current BLS certification
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Understand and adhere to the federal confidentiality regulations
