Sample Mechanizing Operator - Bay City TX
LOCATION: Bay City- Texas-USA

*Night Shift Premium (for overnight shifts): $1.50 in addition to base rate.
Purpose:
Performs the operation of preparing and machining samples in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures complying with defined quality standards.
Main Activities:
- Executes change over and set up of the machine.
- Performs milling machine operation.
- Prepares standard samples such as Tensile or Charpy samples.
- Interprets Standards and requirements.
- Updates information in the tracking systems.
- Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (refrigerating fluid machine adjustments etc.).
