Job Description
Provide library instruction collection development and subject liaison services primarily in the areas of humanities special collections and other subjects as assigned. Serve as archivist for the University Archives & Special Collections. Provide reference services at the main reference desk and for the University Archives & Special Collections.
Required Qualifications
*ALA-accredited MLS with formal coursework or training in archival studies; *Knowledge and/or experience in processing archival materials and rare books with accepted archival and cataloging standards.
Preferred Qualifications
*Additional advanced degree in history or related studies; *Certified Archivist if not certified must be willing to obtain certification as Archivist; *Experience in digitization; *Experience with ArchivesSpace PastPerfect or other archival systems
