A well-regarded and growing accountancy practice based in Hull is currently recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join their team on a permanent basis. As an Accounts Senior you will be:
Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
Producing VAT returns and assisting with bookkeeping tasks when required
Acting as a key point of contact for clients offering advice and resolving queries
Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards
To be successful in this Accounts Senior role you will ideally have/be:
ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience in a practice environment
Comfortable managing a portfolio of clients including limited companies sole traders and partnerships
Familiar with cloud-based software such as Xero Sage or QuickBooks
A proactive and organised individual with excellent communication skills
Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively
