We currently have career opportunities for Managers in our Canadian banking technology consulting team. Our team works to build a better world by transforming businesses through the potential of our people technology and innovation. We work collaboratively with some of the top executives in financial institutions of all sizes and scales helping them create and realize the best solutions for the future of their business. Each project is different so youll need to be able to excel in ambiguous situations and confidently navigate ever-changing circumstances. Well look to you to be a self-starter have the ability to translate complex information into simple terms and deliver long-term solutions with confidence. On this team youll have the unique opportunity to imagine the future as well as create it where you can craft ideas and implement them for our clients.

Your key responsibilities

As a manager you will advise clients and guide teams with the support of EY professionals with deep industry knowledge and experience. You will have a leadership role in the development of business led technology strategies execution of large-scale multi-year engagements building customer relationships and leading team development. This role spans topics across data technology and may include opportunities to leverage strategic alliances with third parties to deliver strategic transformations with a focus on Credit Unions in the Canadian Financial Services sector.

Skills and attributes for success

Were looking for people who are innovative can work in an agile way and keep pace with a rapidly changing in business development or delivering against financial targets in a service-oriented context is a plus. Were looking for someone who is comfortable with being uncomfortable and able to organize and bring clarity to complex situations.
  • High-performance teaming. Demonstrated teaming project management organizational analytical and problem-solving skill and the willingness and ability to learn and work independently with minimal supervision. You enjoy working with large teams in complex contexts delivering strategic technology-enabled transformations and major digital implementations.
  • Coaching mindset. Build and mentor junior team members by acting as a coach fostering a culture of continuous learning and guiding them to solve problems and manage deliverables.
  • Great communicators. Communication and storytelling are key we strive to bring our best interpersonal written and verbal communication skills whether were running workshops building a proposal drafting an architecture diagram or cutting code. Were looking for someone who can facilitate and co-create solutions with clients.
  • Curiosity and purpose. Were looking for people who see opportunities instead of challenges who ask better questions to seek better answers that build a better working world and who are committed to integrity in every environment.
  • Integrity and inclusivity. Were looking for people who seek out and embrace diverse perspectives who value differences and team inclusively to build safety and trust.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience and appetite for learning. Were looking for individuals with relevant experience or education in technology engineering computer science data or other related fields. We are also open to candidates who can demonstrate a strong aptitude for technology and structured problem solving.
  • Typically successful candidates have 5 years of experience in Consulting or similar project-based organizations with client facing delivery.
  • Experience in business and technology modernization across strategy planning and delivery and strong experiential knowledge in delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in conducting analysis of client requirements translating them into actionable strategies working with cross-functional teams.
  • An ability to work with clients at all levels from executive to delivery teams.


Ideally youll also have

  • Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
